Growth mindset.

deyani deydreaming — cloud thought, inspirational quote

Sadness and Fear are on the other side of pain and anger. For some people, pain and anger are the only acceptable emotions to have. Some people can’t admit they are scared or face their sad. But even when we point fingers we only project that which we know and experienced…

How do we project better images of others and ourselves in light of our limited and biased perception?

Can a good nights rest help? How about a walk around nature or writing things out? What is the best way to process any feeling?

Snapping at others or projecting or trying to unload grief on another person creates a ripple effect and murky waters. At the same time, the waters can heal with proper nurturing. So, how do we heal murky waters?

Sometimes things get dirty, but that’s part of life.

Are we able to accept the natural process of healing?

Are we able to accept even more wonderful things?

How set is our Happiness Limit? How can we expand it? How can we nurture proper thoughts? How can we think the right thing? What is the right thing to think? What is right?

It’s all based on our limited perception, and our willingness to try new things. The old got us this far, but how much farther—and joyous—can a new way of thinking take us?

How far are you trying to reach?

With proper focus and action, whatever we strive for we can attain. If we strive to maintain our old story because of Sadness, Fear, Pain, Anger or the like, we will continue to achieve the same results. But, if we have the courage to face a new story, one where we healed our past, the possibilities are endless—and wonderful.

But change is scary, change is different; the same is familiar and—in a way—comfortable. It’s all we’ve ever known, but what is beyond the unknown?

Seeking is sometimes uncomfortable and challenging.

Like all new things learn, a growth mindset habit takes time, and the process is not linear. Hiccups and regressions occur, but with continued effort and practice all new things can be learned.

We get what we set our minds to—what are our minds set to today?

Thank you for reading, may you have a wonderful day.

weekend uplift: truth series

God bless this situation, I no longer resist.

There’s isn’t an answer I can come up in my head that may establish another’s validity. Their reality is unlimited, my perception of their reality is limited to my own experiences.

Even a fart isn’t as big a deal in different parts of the world, sometime, it is to some cultures and some people.

We are only what we can perceive, we perceive only what we think we know. But what if there are other possibilities out there? What if, there are more wonderful possibilities—ones which are expansive, joyous, and life-filling?

What do we want to take a bite out of? What do we want to consume?

What we eat, see, and hear affects us on deeper levels than just the mere conscious? What became impregnated in my subconscious?

Where do my actions stem from?

Where do my thoughts?

I believe

I believe

I believe

I believe…

What do you believe?

What do I believe?

What do we believe?

What are we creating?

Why?

Expanding Possibilities…Thursday thoughts

Is it possible to embrace all of the wonderful possibilities that are available in this existence?

How can we consistently embrace Pronoia, instead of paranoia. How can we make ourselves believe the world is constantly collaborating to work towards our greater good, instead of always being paranoid the world is “out to get us”…we are what we believe. We believe what we constantly think about—what are we constantly thinking about, or fueling?

Is it okay to pay attention to our thoughts? Should we listen to all of whatever we think? Where do these thoughts even come from—could they potentially stem from outer sources? Are these outer sources even something we should listen to?

Why must we give so much credit to the words of others—are others in positions of Authority always correct?

How do we trust our own Intuition?

Can we break free from others misconceptions, thoughts, and judgements?

How can I personally expand all of my wonderful possibilities, and embrace all of the wonderful things this life has to offer?

One must ask themselves these things. The answer always lies ahead of the question. What are you asking yourself lately? Are you asking the right questions?

May you begin…

Give Yourself Permission

Most people love Fridays because it brings them one step closer to what they truly want to be doing, some people do what they love to be doing every day, others take the chance to escape whatever way they can.

What do you love? What do you truly enjoy doing?

I give you permission to do that—now, you have to give yourself authority.

Some of up grow up looking up to our parents for approval, some of us forget to drop that bad habit even when we become adults.

Permission is granted when you do something right, physical reprimands may be given when you are bad, and some of us got the wonderful opportunity to get talked to/at—so we learned how to communicate nicely or negatively from our caregivers. We learned how to talk to ourselves; good or bad.

How do you talk to your Other? How do you deal with all the different unified voices inside of your head—they all seem to form your thinking.

What of your thoughts—where do they come from? Where have you learned how to think like that?

Remember when there were no voices screaming for attention inside of your head? How does it feel to have harmonious silence? How do we deal with all the talk—can we stop the thinking as the Others?

Who is talking inside your head?

What is making you utter the things you say?

Remember when there was silence?

There was only observation.

There was nothing but the notion that you were being taken care-of, and life was a-OKAY!

Life is still fine; in fact, it’s beautiful.

Life gives us everything we need and want (we continuously speak and think what we need or want into existence).

So be aware of your thoughts, become friends with your thinking; only utter that which you want. Take care not to waste your Energy on anything you don’t want to bring into existence (don’t waste your Energy manifesting shitty things).

Dream big, let your imagination fly; then focus on what fills you.

Give your Energy to Life; be in-harmony with existing.

Follow your heart; I give you permission.

Now give yourself authority; let your Soul be happy.

Enjoy the joy that’s in your life.

Enjoy the life that you’ve been given; never settle for less—a tree may grow as big as it can, it don’t need permission. So grow tall; you child made up of trees and stars. Grow big and strong, reach your highest potential.

Enjoy life a little bit more than yesterday.

Thursday Thoughts: Listen to the voice inside your head

Listen to the voice inside your head, the one who is telling you that you are doing everything wrong: LISTEN TO IT.

Listen to the voice inside your head, the one that is telling you that you are not good enough: LISTEN TO IT.

Listen to the voice inside your head, the once which gives you bad ideas, ideas that hurt your feelings and make you feel as though everything in life is uncomfortable, or challenging…

LISTEN TO EVERYTHING YOU ARE THINKING.

When did you learn to think whatever you are saying? How old were you when you first had that thought? What is your favorite name to be called?

Call upon your Self. Have a conversation with whomever is speaking whatever is making you think differently than the direction your Heart and Soul have you heading. Know which direction you are heading. Make a Life Map, calibrate your compass, and boldly keep going. Be gently, kind, and patient with your Self; just because you start talking to Hurt, Stressed, Anxious, or Loved, Fulfilled, and Joyous in you, doesn’t mean they’ll listen or even understand right away—all learning takes time; including learning to communicate with your many Selfs.

So listen to the voice inside your head, whatever is speaking loudest really wants your attention; however, whomever is speaking loudest isn’t always necessarily right—it’s often the most sad or scared of the group. So don’t ignore the voices inside your head, ignoring often leads to more Sad or more Scared. Listen to what your thoughts are saying, what does Scared need, what does Sad want?

Listen to the voices inside your head, ask them what they need? Encourage your Support, encourage their growth—for everything is constantly growing. With each new season new crops are found—what did you plant last season.

Enjoy life a little bit more than yesterday.

Yoda said it best, but do people embrace the light side or the dark.

Did you know, when we fear, we are caught in the dark—even in those times when we think we are fearing for the best.

“Fear is the part to the dark side. Fear leads to anger. Anger leads to hate. Hate leads to suffering.”

—Yoda

What if, same as in Disney’s 2015 hit movie Tomorrowland, our combined thoughts—as whole world community—created the circumstances we faced throughout 2020?

Over the last decade, we’ve become more and more connected than ever—even remote villages gained access to Google and Facebook. However, the growth in connection via technology has not advanced on par with the evolution of human cognition.

While humans began to face a world that may comfortably suit and very well fit their every need, they hesitated to embrace it. They struggled to thrive beyond their wildest possibilities. They got stuck on survival; they got stuck on fear. They manifested a world-wide pandemic.

What has covid resulted in?

May it not be fear. Instead, may you be embracing all of your wonderful possibilities. May you be thriving in a world that is way past just surviving. May you be grateful everyday. May you enjoy your PRESENT; your family, your friends, your audience, your clients, your pets. May you be enjoying the world around you; your Nature, your community, your home…for—in a Universe filled with infinite possibilities—you must’ve been created to enjoy the wonderful Creations this existence has to offer. Nobody wants to watch a flower suffer, and everything has its time; what is it time for you to do?

Instead of Fear, what can you be embracing?

When you fill up with all of the good things; self-care, Nature, Inner-Peace through Prayer and Meditation, positive songs and media, nourishing conversations and thoughts, there is very little room for junk things—there is very little room for fear, stress, anxiety, self-pity, or self-doubt. But if you’re human, those creepers may still come around, so it’s important to exercise the mind daily and keep a healthy mental diet.

What kind of things are you doing to exercise your mind daily and keep a healthy mental diet?

Enjoy life a little bit more than yesterday.

long-term stress: HOW LONG CAN HUMANS STAND IT?

What happens when we are continuously exposed to long-term stress? At the same time, do the things that happen need to be deemed stressful? What if, we can learn from every situation we are exposed to—without letting it stress us out? What if, we take time to grow and reframe?

What if, during that time, we focus on growth—without becoming addicted to the stressful situation; without beginning to assimilate the stressful behavior.

How do we successfully transcend stressful situations?

It takes effort. It takes lots and lots of attempts and failed tries. Sometimes it literally takes physically removing yourself from the situation. If you’re not ready to remove yourself from the situation, become an observer; just watch the situation, and if too many complaints come out of your mouth; if the negativeness takes over your vocabulary, completely remove yourself from that environment—if you don’t, you are at risk of internalizing your complaints, and they may become part of your own behavior.

One must be mindful when judging others for one could turn into them.

Every situation is defined by the beholder, so we must be vigilant in becoming active participants in whatever we are defining. If we never allow ourselves to dwell in chronic stressful situations, if we don’t label most things “bad,” then we can maintain lower stress levels (we can create a more beautiful life). All we have to do is get Creative.

So…what kind of creative things are you making with the lemons life is throwing out?

How are you refocusing your energy into something more valuable—instead of wasting precious mental energy on thinking about stressful factors?

How are you exercising your creative muscles to become more resilient and successful in life?

How are you creating more harmonious balance?

Coming up with all of the answers sometimes takes time. Growth takes time, and it is usually uncomfortable (sometimes overwhelmingly). Evolving out of stress-focused-thinking isn’t usually done over-night, it usually takes lots of practice and redundant repetition.

But: it can be done; by refocusing attention, and rethinking more nourishing things, one can transcend overly stressful mental scenarios. It’s time to get Creative.
