🙋i started college because my parents told me (alllllllll my life) that I had to go to college.
I stayed in college (like forever) because I love learning. I love discovery. I love the intellectual challenge.
College was a safe and creative way to spend most of my twenties.
Throughout my experience, I got to see a lot of people (myself included) go through the motions. Just one more test. Just one more class.
WHERE’S THE PASSION???
I really think that college just produces a mental habit in people, the habit of “just” tolerating things, until…
Until graduation?! Until they are over.
Then what?
That feeling that was practiced over, and over, and over, and over again for at-least four years doesn’t just magically go away once you’re done with everything.
A diploma doesn’t automatically drain out all that stress and anxiety and “just get through it” attitude.
No wonder people are over-stressed, they go to school to practice feeling that feeling.
The purpose of college is to get a job…
Well what do you wanna do? What do you like to do? Better yet what did you love doing when you were a kid🤔
How can you expand on that?
How can you continuously continue to grow?
College is not the only time one has to learn. Graduation doesn’t mean you have to stop learning, to just do what your job tells you.
Why do ANYTHING if not out of willingness and joy🤷♀️
We only have this ONE life.
If you don’t like something change it. To change it you have to do something different. If you don’t like someone just don’t talk to them. Never talk bad about them. When you speak ill of someone you’re only pointing fingers at YOU.
We are all mirrors.
STOP THE CYCLE.
If you don’t like what you do, stop doing it! Don’t complain about your job over, and over, and over, and over again —what a headache!
Solution based talking and thinking.
We are companionate creatures.
Yawning is not the only thing that gets passed on subconsciously.
The things we hear. The things we see. It’s all constantly affecting us.
EVERYTHING has an effect! What your friends, family, clients say. The type of music you listening to. The TV you watch. Movies. EVERYTHING.
The learning never stops. Whether it’s Active or Conscious learning that’s up to you…
What kind of ideas are you picking up. Are they coming out of your head, or your heart.
You’re not done.
Keep going.

Inspiring post. And I agree. We are social beings. Everything either inspires us or demotivates us.
