personally accountably for what we envision.

what kind of world community do you envision

This is Saturday’s reminder to live in the PRESENT, to enjoy life as much as possible, to be grateful for everything.

Because 1897 was a long time ago, it’s 2019 now; we don’t need to struggle to survive anymore.

So…what’s next, how do we thrive?

Perhaps emotions are key in the next step of human evolution. Perhaps mindfulness and breath awareness are tools we must use to help propel the energy of our thoughts to create more efficient motion with our feelings..

solitude mantra:

I hear the silence.

I see the ebb and flow of my breath, the blood pulsing through my veins, the rhythm of my heart. The brain static is no longer drilling. My heart is in harmony.

I feel at peace. There are no gremlins creeping; no monkey-chatter, mitotes, or incessant inner- dialogue…I am here, in my Present.

Focused on ONE thing.

One thought.

My heartbeat.

This moment.

My breath.

This space.

I am thankful.

I am whole.

I am.

Monday Motivation: posters

Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop posters.

I have a love/hate relationship with Adobe and its products; they are simply too expensive for the average person to buy and they are way too frustrating to use.

The learning curve on Adobe products is gut-wrenching.

I remember many times in college spending countless hours just attempting to figure out Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign…the entire Adobe Suite. To this day it’s so frustrating how many time I have to tweet on Twitter, search on Google, or “force-quit” something.

I’ve heard that there’s designing software out there that’s less frustrating to use and free, yet I haven’t made the switch and instead I pay a monthly “design tax” —since I don’t design everyday.

Inspired by one of my heroes, Marie Kondo, I’ve decided that overall the Adobe Suite brings me joy —so I started to use it and made the following posters:

What brings you joy? Where do you make your art? Who are some of your heroes?
